In these challenging economic times, we’ve seen that everyone has a different risk tolerance. And yet, some things are tried and true:
If you own a car… you wouldn’t be without automobile insurance.
If you own a home… you wouldn’t be without home insurance.
If you own a business & have employees you wouldn’t be without workers compensation insurance.
If you have children… you wouldn’t be without life insurance.
And yet, many people have spent years saving for a comfortable retirement while putting it all at risk because they never purchased insurance to protect their nest egg! Whether you’re considering regular long term care insurance, or you’re considering some of the new life/long term care insurance combination products, each of us needs to look at our risk tolerance and then make a decision to either purchase or to go bare. No decision is a decision!
