Carlisle Household Recycling Committee (CHRC)

1. Olde Home Day: Ideas needed for 2009.
2. Annual Report: Review of 2008 activities for the annual report: Olde Home Day- "Wilma the Worm" trophy; "Green Disk" collection; free prepaid mailers for inkjet recycling; Carlisle school recycling.
3. Recycling Promotion: Instituting "100 % Participation" recycling in town.
Rob will prepare letter to selectmen and scheduling with selectmen.
Discussed publicity and promoting recycling. It was recommended that a specific goal be set. Cindy Nock proposed getting car stickers to go along with dump stickers: Possible wording - "Iím a Recycler" or "Carlisle Recycler".
4. Town Website: Dan: Dan will have Madonna link new Town site to recycling at old site.
5. New members: New members are needed. Mosquito article needed. Rob will prepare a draft.
6. Recycling at Village Court (Senior Housing): There is no organized tenantís group. Rob will contact Shelly Freeman (Hodges Co. - management) to see if the trash hauler can do any recycling.
7. Pass-It-Forward Day: Rob will get an update from Mary Zoll on plans for 2009.
Next Meeting: March 3, 2009 at 7:15 P.M. in the Hollis Room at the Gleason Library. Dan will reserve the room and post the meeting in the Mosquito. Rob will post the meeting with the Town Clerk at Town Hall in advance.
