Town Forest - The Baseline Assessment has been completed and is ready for public review and comment. A copy is available
at Gleason Public Library. The Management Plan is currently being prepared. When the proposed plan is completed, a notice of a public hearing before the Conservation Commission will be posted on this Web site and published in the Mosquito.

Towle Field - The Baseline Assessment has been completed and can be viewed via the link here or in hard copy at Gleason Public Library. The Management Plan is currently in draft form and is ready for public review and consideration for approval at an upcoming Conservation Commission hearing. Cranberry Bog - The Baseline Assessment has been completed and is ready for public review and comment. A copy is available at Gleason

Davis Corridor – The Baseline Assessment as well as the Management Plan has been completed and approved by
the Conservation Commission. Hard copies of both documents are available in Town Hall and at the Gleason Public Library.
Fox Hill - The Final Management Plan has been completed and a copy is available at the Town Hall and Gleason Public Library.
The LSC is currently in the process of developing Baseline Assessments for Foss Farm and Greenough.

Other Documents
The LSC prepared a report that examines the use of pesticides on town-owned conservation lands that are leased for agricultural production. The Conservation Commission grants licenses to farmers on some conservation lands for animal feed and cranberry production.
Want to get involved?
The LSC welcomes input from town residents. We invite you to volunteer to be an informal steward for a particular parcel that you enjoy. If you see inappropriate activities or encroachments on any conservation land, please report them to us. Contact us via Sylvia Willard, the Carlisle Conservation Administrator (978-369-0336).
