[Link]The Carlisle Recreation Department offers 6-8 week programs for children and adults in the fall, winter, and spring. Fitness classes often offered include Yoga, T'Ai Chi, Aerobics, Basketball, Golf, Skating, Badminton, Fencing, Karate, and Dance. Arts and Crafts classes often offered are Pottery, Watercolor, Painting and Drawing. Life Skills classes often include Cooking, Childcare Training and CPR. The Spring and Fall sessions feature Tennis lessons and the Winter session features Ski and Snowboard lessons. Special one-day programs are offered to school children on some early-release Tuesdays and some Professional school days during the school year.
Summer time in Carlisle
In the summer, children’s swim lessons and Summer Fun day program are offered for three two-week sessions, five days per week from 9AM-3PM. Early morning drop off and extended day options are available. Training is offered in CPR, first aid, childcare, water safety aid, and CIT for teenagers.
