Cemetery Task Force
Green Cemetery and other Carlisle burying grounds represent essential and sacred space that demonstrate the town’s commitments to its residents and history. The Cemetery Task Force will work with the Department of Public Works and Town Administrator to identify opportunities for improving Carlisle’s cemetery grounds and burial operations.
This is a new public body and there are five vacancies for voting member.

Safety Committee
Ensuring safety in Carlisle is a critical responsibility of the Select Board. Towards this end, the Board has created a Safety Committee. The mission of the Committee will be to bring attention to, and work to eliminate, unsafe conditions for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers of motorized vehicles of all ages and abilities. Further, the Committee provide recommendations to the Select Board about unsafe conditions and remedies for Town workplaces.
This Committee is being reformed and has five vacancies for voting member.

Terms are three years, staggard. This initial year, one member will be appointed until 2025, two members appointed until 2026, and two members appointed until 2027.
