PROCLAMATION
Concord-Carlisle Community Chest
WHEREAS: The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest was founded in 1947 to provide support for community human service organizations;
WHEREAS: Agencies and programs funded by the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest serve the needs of our neighbors including Communities for Restorative Justice, Carlisle Council on Aging. Community Outreach Coordinator, Mass 211, etc;
WHEREAS: The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest carefully evaluates each funding request to ensure that donations are spent efficiently and effectively;
WHEREAS: The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest depends upon the generous contributions by thousands of individuals and businesses; and
WHEREAS: The Concord-Carlisle Community Chest’s Annual Campaign begins October 1, 2023; and,
NOW THEREFORE: We, the Select Board of the Town of Carlisle, Massachusetts, do hereby proclaim the month of October 2023 as:
CONCORD-CARLISLE COMMUNITY CHEST MONTH
In the Town of Carlisle to recognize the vital role the Community Chest plays in the life of our town and to wish members of the Community Chest success in reaching their Annual Campaign fundraising goal.
