Farming License Agreements
The Town of Carlisle acting through its Land Stewardship Committee is accepting proposals for the agricultural use of portions of the following parcels of Carlisle Conservation Lands: Bisbee, Foss Farm, Fox Hill, the Hutchins & Robbins Fields, Greenough, Fisk Meadow, and the Cranberry Bog Corn Field. This year the License Agreements for Grazing/Haying start with the 2025 growing season and end on Nov 30, 2029. The License Agreements for Corn start with the 2025 growing season and end on Nov 30, 2025. Applicants may obtain copies of the Request For Proposals, the Farming License Agreement form and the Land Use Planning/Report Forms by contacting the Land Stewardship Committee by sending an EMAIL request to LSC@Carlislema.gov OR by visiting the Planning Department (Noelle Beland) in the Carlisle Town Hall, 66 Westford Street, Carlisle, MA 01741 beginning March 5, 2025. All proposals in conformity with the Request for Proposals are due by email to LSC@Carlislema.gov to the Land Stewardship Committee by 3:00 PM, March 10, 2025. A virtual meeting will be held with the Land Stewardship Committee to award licenses on March 11, 2025.
