The Town of Carlisle held its 2025 Special Town Meeting on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 1pm. A total of 524 registered voters participated — 12.7% of the town’s 4,117 voters.
Results Summary:
- Article 1 – MBTA Communities Zoning Bylaw
Voters approved creation of a Multi-Family Overlay District at Kay’s Walk (Woodward Village) by majority vote (347–114).
The accompanying zoning bylaw amendment also passed, 370–54. - Article 2 – Fire Station Renovation Design Funding
Approved by a two-thirds majority (442–28) to borrow $1.4 million for design and engineering services related to the Fire Station renovation project, contingent on a future Proposition 2½ debt exclusion vote. - Article 3 – Demolition Review Bylaw
